I miss Starr Hill being on W Main. Used to stop there on Friday afternoons to fill the growler.

Love the place. Really good friend of mine is the brewer. He's a serious moe.ron and we've gone to fests with him. They are extremely local and don't really do anything outside of Raleigh. They have a single hop recipe called Unicycle that is the same recipe except a different hop every time that is always fun to try. Hardywood is great. Enjoy.

Just a story....
At L2, we ended up camping across the aisle from a guy who was one of the owners/brewers of Crank Arm brewery. Who knows, maybe this was your friend. We didn't get to know him all that well but on Saturday morning we hung out with him for an hour or so and he treated us to a few samples of one of his brews. Some good IPA coming out of there, unfortunately I had two large cups and it was a little stronger than what I was drinking the rest of the time.
Anyway, good guy, good brewere.
