Marvin's Mountaintop

We loved Marvin's. Was not aware that they were doing anything there. It was the only place we have gone VIP and it was totally worth it. The camping was at the top of the concert bowl. It was a hike up the hill after the show but you could hang out in your camp and hear great or make friends with the folks at the front edge of VIP and bring a chair and hang out there all day with a good view and great sound. If you were in GA it depended where you were. If you ended up in the back you could be facing a down and up and down and up to get to the concert bowl and the opposite going back. And the up and downs there were challenging. Shuttles from the top of VIP down to the concert bowl and back up were included. But all that was AllGood so no telling what the arraingments will be for whatever this is. And by the way what is going on there?

Ooohhh. Hard to say. They are going to be, or should be, super cautious about parking cars. Last All Good a car rolled down slope and killed people or person. The stage is easy to figure out. You can see it on the picture below. The bottom right hand corner is VIP which was car camping up on a steep hill but was a great place to see and hear from. If you exit the stage to the left you pass by the backstage area then to ADA Camping. Thru that is the big car entry gate area where everyone except VIP enters. Along the left is a road that you can see emerge out of the edge of the picture with scattered tents. Before those tents was first Family Camping (flat enough for car camping) and then a BIG RV Camping area (obviously big enough for car camping or parking). The best guess is that the big group of camps above the road that bisects the picture will be the parking lot and you will schlep into the campgrounds surrounding it. All cars enter along that bisector road or the one even further back. Car camping COULD be in that area in the middle right of the picture. I think it was level enough.

It could be a small enough fest that the area to the right of the stage where vendor row is could turn into car camping.

It may not look it but there are serious hills involved.

Really might be the smart play.
