Welcome to the Lockn' Forum - The home of the original Lockn' Music Festival family!
what my group liked about the twin stages is that you could get to the rail on the dark stage--and still see the other right well--and be there for the next, better act. It worked out perfect even for JA/MD&E. GA viewing and getting up close enough is no problem for the shows before about 7:00. Makes for a very pleasant afternoon experience; the crush is fun for short term but our natural adrenal systems aren't made to take it. Please note: This forum is in no way officially associated with Lockn' Festival or its promoters.
First time at Lockn GA RV camping

We're living in an RV these days a 5th wheel. We'll need a somewhat leveled ground to set up comfortably and are the sites pull through or will there be enough space to back in?
We have our whole life with us - like glasses, plates, wine and liquor, knives - what do we do? We don't have anywhere to leave our stuff! Pack it up and store it in boxes below and get paper plates and plastic cups for the fest?
We also have a pug that's a service animal with us. Have anyone had experience bringing service animals with them? And what are the rules?
We're GA - can we still see the musicians? Or will we be too far away at that point?
How far away from the stages is the GA RV camping? Will we need some form of transportation?
Thank you for helping us out making the most of our first Lockn!

I know service animals have to be"legal", not just self declared. You should definitely communicate with the lockn office beforehand and have documents for a service animal.
As far as kitchen knives and such, no big deal in an rv, but you should probably stow the most obvious glass, weapons, etc. My experience is in VIP rv but they didn't look very hard.
Some of the Rvs were on a real slanty hill, but you can probably get some accommodation with a big fiver.
Of course, it all depends on the weather, last year was pretty wild in ga rv with a lotta people not getting electric and so on. Anticipate a lot fewer problems this year.

So about the stages. We have GA will we be able to see the stages or get anywhere close? Wondering if we made a mistake by not getting the VIP tickets. Just finished out jazz fest in Nola and it was insane. So big and so many people we couldn't see anything unless we arrived 2-3 hrs early and waited around all day and wore diapers so we didn't have to leave our spot to use the bathroom! Ha!!! We didn't go that far but you get the idea. Not used to that many people. How big is Lockn?

I would suggest you could get close-ish without going to great lenghts, though. Just get there by 330 or so. Plenty of room in front of the soundboard. In and out is really only an issue after the sun goes down
