We were in line before 6am last year too and were parked a straight shot from the entrance to the VIP tent. It was maybe a 1 minute walk to enter the field. We could see the left most screen from the back of our RV.

So here is the choice we made this year:
2 people Lockn VIP plus RV = ~$3,000
Or
2 people Lockn GA plus RV AND 2 people Bonnaroo VIP plus RV = ~$3,000
Easy. Downgrading from VIP to GA at Lockn paid for our VIP tickets to Roo. Plus VIP RV at Roo is a guaranteed short walk.

I guess buying a GA ticket and then later upgrading to VIP would be an interesting way to bypass the fact that there was no payment plan available for VIP like there is for GA. I probably would have given VIP more consideration if a payment plan was available. Now I’m wondering if I should do this, too. Hmmm…

They refunded my GA tix and camping after I purchased the VIP package, it took about a week. I am really glad that I did it, I just hope the bathroom situation is better this year.
