The "$200 ticket" is actually a $299 ticket set up as a payment plan: $200 now, the other $99 on June 24. When tix were first released, it was $100 at purchase, $100 in May, and $99 in June. So none of what you are looking at are $200 tix - GA tix are $299, it's a matter of how you want to pay for them.
As for camping, there's pros and cons to each. With car camping you have the benefit of having your vehicle with you at your campsite, which gives you a convenient place to lock up your stuff and have additional secure storage - forest camping has separate parking in another lot, but you have shaded camping. You will have to carry your gear to the spot where you camp in the forest.
If you decide to car camp, it is advantageous to bring shade canopies/EZ-ups so you don't fry at your campsite (it's usually pretty warm in Va. in late August) - and if you can shade your tent, all the better as most end up waking up when the sun hits the tent otherwise. Not good if you spent lots of time at the late night shows...
Festival camping definitely necessitates the six P's - (Proper Planning Prevents Pi-- Poor Performance) - if you come prepared the weekend has a much better chance of going smoothly. It's a really good idea to read this thread thoroughly - "The Ultimate Festival Checklist". Much of what you will want to know will already be covered here - but if not, definitely ask questions.
