I've said it before, but honestly we were all very lucky the micro-burst came on Wednesday last year instead of when everybody was already inside and set up.

As it was it was a minor inconvenience and source of bitching for many, but if it came when everybody was in the venue it had the potential for real tragedy.

The more I read and listen to people (and having the better part of a year to contemplate helps, too), the more I'm convinced that they should've cancelled the entire weekend if they couldn't get the portas. Of course, they probably couldn't because how do you fully refund money you spent on acts? Ponzi scheme, man. Ponzi scheme.

Of course, what I'm not convinced of is that Lockn's biggest error re: portas was placement. I had no issues whatsoever, whether in GA car camping or the show field. I loved the men's (and women with a she-wee's; c'mon, it's dark) pee pavilion, too

Anyways, this guy's story about the four-year-old kinda takes the cake, and it's probably even true. The guy himself appears to be a bit of a tool - his "blog" has exactly one post, and he's hoisted that post on Twitter under various Lockn-related hashtags once a month since he posted it. Also, after ranting about how terrible of an experience it was, he's still pissed he got ripped off for an extra day of it. Which is it, man?
