VIP car camping q

The spaces the last two years were slightly different dimensions. You'll also have some "aisle" space you can usurp a little bit--but trip wires are not good for you or passers-by!

I put my car (Tahoe) tight in one corner. One year I had the 10x10 easy up directly behind the car (so the tailgate opened under it) and the next year, the space was shorter so I put it beside the car back in the opposite corner.

Each time I would have had room for a 8x5 sleeping tent, barely, but not a 10x10. I sleep in my 10x10 easy up--it has walls, and I am solo.

If you must have a 10x10 tent, you may have to put it under the EZ up or put the EZ up over part of the car. I doubt you can fit all three unless you share space with someone (group set-ups allow more efficient use).

At L2 there was tons of extra space in VIP. At L3 it was oversold and they had people set up in the roadway directly in front of me, taking a lot of elbow room.

ETA: You can put your car anywhere on the space and usually you want it right on the line in a corner. A lot has to do, though, by how your neighbors are set up if you are put next to them, or how the neighbors that arrive set up after you. You may or may not want to leave room to open the doors on one side.  Sometimes you aren't there when they set up  and just have to live with how they do it. Also, obviously, car size matters.
