Where's the best place to park in the RV section and why? Also, will probably have two tickets a ride down and space in an RV for two from Connecticut as it seems that the two people that were coming with me are probably going to California instead. Bummer.

You could probably get a ton of answers to this question but it really comes down to what the map looks like this year (not out yet) and where the crew decides what area needs to be loaded at the time you arrive. With that being said, it was quite different last year and looked something similar to this once you made it onto the farmWhere's the best place to park in the RV section and why? Also, will probably have two tickets a ride down and space in an RV for two from Connecticut as it seems that the two people that were coming with me are probably going to California instead. Bummer.

Wherever the people directing traffic tell you to park it. It's not really like you have a choice in the matter.Where's the best place to park in the RV section and why?

Last year they lost a lot of the RV parking area, including freshly installed power, due to the rain storm washing it out and also making the hills too slick to drive on. This especially pertained due to the large number of drivers who had never or seldom driven an RV. A lot of bumper cars and sliders, so I heard.
Point is, even with a map, things can change.
I found that in my car camping area, although the goal was to fill it in order, there was some flexibility about where you went and getting some space around you; never hurts to ask politely.

They will load in wherever they have designated as the Wed entry area. I seriously doubt there will be any wandering around in your rv looking for a prime spot. The point of the early access is right there in the title "early access". Theoretically you SHOULD get parked in a better spot, along with everyone else arriving early, than everyone arriving on Thursday.Thanks everyone.
