Hooray! Very, very jealous. Once the kids are in college and everything settles down we will get something similar. Can't wait to see it in person!

This is unacceptable! No way would that fine specimen sit in my driveway for TWO MONTHS before I took her out for a test camp! I would at least be spending the night in it in my driveway and getting it set up for said maiden voyage...

When they are having sales, they are usually cheaper than the others, but non sale items, you are probably correct. 

Give it a test run in the garage, at least! Needs to be properly christened.

Camping World exists everywhere (if you have internet).

Get twice as much hoses and cords as you think you need (sewer, water, electric). 

I don't know if you do a lot of trailering so you may know this:

Tongue weight is very important. Generally you want about 10% of the gross weight on the tongue. So when you fill it with your gear and liquids, it can change. Also if the trailer is front weighted and you have a lot in the back of the car, it can affect your steering (less weight on your front tires). So when you pack the car, put your heavy stuff over or in front of the rear axle.

Short trailers are really hard to back up, even a short distance. So take it out a couple of Sundays to an empty school parking lot, set up some cones (buckets, boxes, etc.) and practice. Try it at night some, too.

No one can explain the double reverse dynamics of the steering wheel and where the trailer goes when you back it. It's all by feel.

Agreed. A fifth wheel would be easier to back up than the T@B. Something that small is super sensitive to the turn of the wheel. Of course, practice makes perfect and if you guys get the hang of backing it up, just think of all your future options!

I don't have a camper, but I put my boat in the water a lot. The worst part of going sailing is the novice power boaters who only go out twice a year and can't put in or take out a boat. I like the hand push idea too, but it might be a lot harder loaded and on grass. Practice makes perfect.

I've pretty much given up on Ann helping me park our rig. She's like the little league outfielder that's more interested in the crickets or ants and stuff in the grass than what's going on in the game. I've even tried doing it with mobile phones but have found it far less stressful to just get out and look where I need to point it.
