We've never used more than 3 canisters of fuel...and 2 is usually plenty.

Yes, those are the ones that I use. They fit my coleman.

I use mine a fair bit and I would have a hard time going through a full canister on a four day weekend. I take 2 to be on the safe side. 3 would be overkill, unless you are cooking for a much larger group or have a grill that has far more burners than mine.

In the "prohibited items" list they mention propane but like the beer, they are only concerned about unreasonably large quantities.

You will pick up lots of canisters from the flying campers on Monday. I think they also sell canisters at the general store on site.

I brought both canisters (maybe 5 of various unknown fullness) and also the old pump-up "white gas" can for my stoves, no problem, but the latter may have been against the rules. I used the old style because, well, that's how I roll.

We grill, heat up things in pots, and with a little care you can bake things in it. There is a nice stand you can get with it so you don't have to cook on the ground.

My favorite wedding gift when we got married was a brand new jet black Weber charcoal grill, all my own. I can't wait to hand it down to my grandkids. We take grilling very seriously here.

Hi, my name is Hondo and I have a grill problem. I have 6. A propane grill (1), the previously mentioned Roadtrip (2), a charcoal smoker (3), a Weber (4), a Weber Smokey Joe (5), and a big-ass charcoal grill that you don't insult with just a couple of pieces of meat - more like 4 chickens cut into halves or quarters (6). I still lust after a Big Green Egg.

I nabbed one of these at Goodwill last year. Still haven't tested it. The thing is really heavy! But I think it may become our go-to after Worf finally caves and lets me get a teardrop camper.

This is a great grill. Had mine for 3 years now. I like that the stand is built in. Also versatile if you are doing a tent only situation.

This is a great grill. Had mine for 3 years now. I like that the stand is built in. Also versatile if you are doing a tent only situation.

It is extremely versatile. The full size griddle makes perfect pancakes. I've used the stove grate to cook outside when it's too hot inside. At home, I have a propane distribution tee and hoses to run off a 20-lb tank.

I had a friend who carried a wok, and that's about it, backpacking. He watched too much Kung Fu but it worked. With the deeper bowl, you can cook more liquid food (soups).

Home-made, I'd worry about stability and how the burner is attached underneath.
