Wristbands

Finally, my car camping pass showed up. 8:45pm. But now I'm complete & ready to go.

Did you get your bands today?

Got everything today and pulled the trigger on early arrival.

Mine finally left Austin at 10:09 tonight - arriving Monday. HUGE Hooray!

Daaaaamn but YaaaaY!!!

So I just scored 2 4-day bands from two separate craigslist deals this evening for ~220/ea up here in the DC area. Is everyone registering these things? One of the sellers included a lockn pamphlet with the wristband that explained registering was compulsatory?

It doesn't have to be registered. I recommend registration in case something happens, but lockn isn't making people do it.

UPS just delivered my wristbands. I can finally stop holding my breath.

Are not speeding the line up

Should have clarified, the cashless wristbands were not speeding up the beer lines. Got better once everybody showed id.

Yeah, it wasn't wristbands slowing thing down initially it was IDs. But in general it didn't speed things up a lot. Still about the same amount of time. I was just glad at some points I didn't have to try and make sense of cash or pull my wallet out and drop it or leave it or forget to replace something in it. And it didn't result in the spending spree that my gf thought it would. We spent relatively light inside the venue compared to years past. There were probably several reasons for that.

I thought it was interesting that at the Local, the tip options were 15, 18, or 20% (pretty common), but at the beer vendors at the sides it was 20, 28, and 33% !!

I believe in tipping my servers well, but $2.64 for a $8 beer, and no dishes or tables to clean up seems like a bit much.
