and yes, I think they sent us tickets and you got wristbands at the gate...maybe this is to speed up entry?

I've always thought it odd that Lockn' mails us tickets (instead of using online ticketing) and DOESN'T mail the wristbands. I see this as an improvement.

It can't slow things down. It could potentially speed things up. It slowed up down a lot last year...they did not have enough working ticket scanners so we had to wait a while before getting our wristbands...I mean it was only a couple minutes but you multiple that by 20000....

oh they just tossed mine to me last year before anyone even looked in the car, didn't realize that was a problem for some folks

Question about buying someone else's ticket.
every year for Bonnaroo I have bought tickets off Craigslist locally for thirty to sixty per cent off at the last minute. Face to face, public place, cash. When you buy Roo tickets, you buy wristbands, which are hard to counterfeit.
However, I see some local lumni tickets for sale which I'd like to buy for my daughter, but there are no wristbands, just pieces of print at home receipts. Any suggestions on how to go about buying a ticket from someone?

- on a side note I was caravaning with some people who bought wristbands off of somebody before the festival last year. They ended up being the original Lockn wristbands that someone had stolen a box of the first year. Got stopped by the police (maybe FBI to) and questioned about it at the entry - ended up getting let in but just be careful of what you are buying. I'm sure someone will post a picture of the wristband here once they arrive so take a peak so you know what the wristband should look like in advance.

Don't get the paranoids started. I just had one call me yesterday to tell me that the CERN HADRON accelerator has been altering history by shifting us into alternative universes. I asked for an example and he said some key dialog was changed in the first Star Wars movie.
