Anyone done this? Know how it goes down? We are expecting, and she didnt wanna go at all (5 months prego, gnarly heat). But the phil line ups have brought the convo back up!!! Yay! While im at it, any advice for couple who isnt drinking (i can, but dont wanna be an annoying dick to my queen lol)? Or advice for my beautiful wife to be, being prego at a festy?

Friday didn't work last year, because of the storm, Thurs got cancelled. So breezing in on Fri like they likely planned turned into EVERYONE arriving on Fri at the same time. We have friends that have come on Friday before and it was dead easy. Not the best camping spots left but that's what you get. Sorry can't help on the sober or prego questions.

Ahh thats right thursday was cancelled last year. Sorry havent been since year 1...we may look into sober camping...this will be the first festival i remember...

I was 7 months prego at Lockn 2. It was really hot that year, so having a fan and mist system was crucial. I had a hard time sleeping some nights, so I went home and napped during the day. I'd also have an air mattress and ez up and fans so I could relax at camp too.
Where are you guys camping? I think sober is full. The walk can be rather hilly in some spots. Tent only is a fairly flat walk. Definitely plan out your day well because walking back to camp was exhausting. Bring lots of snacks and hydrate well. Because I was super sober, I was hyper aware of everyone else's state of mind. It was a really neat experience overall and I'd do it again 
There are bike trails and water lockn for day time activities. Plus you could always venture out to a nearby town, do some sight seeing, and come back somewhat refreshed.

At L2 I missed Thursday and arrived Friday morning. Breezed right in and had good choices for my camp site (VIP car). It worked out well for me.
However at L3 they sold a lot more VIP and also oversold so it got very crowded, and I think it would have been the same even without the Thursday cancellation.
