I know everyone has different circumstances but I was pondering about this on my drive to work this morning. Some people work from home, walk to work, take mass transit to work, drive around as part of their job, go to a different spot for work every day, are retired, are currently taking a break from the work world or like me, drive to work/school/whatever every day. What do you do?
It started this morning with me wondering how many traffic lights are between me and work. I drive 16 miles each way and it takes me, on average, 23 minutes each way. I hit 12 traffic lights in the first 4 miles and 4 more in the last mile with the intervening 11 miles on Interstate. Same mileage with roughly the same number of lights going home. I might count them today if I remember. And that is just one of the ways I come and go. There are 3 or 4 others depending on traffic and my whim.
No reason for this other than curiosity and to take my mind off of HUGE.
