2016 Weather

Yeah, Intellicast has us a tad higher, but what's a few degrees one way or another when you get up there. Just know it will be HOT! Reminds me a little of L2. I preferred those temps to last year because the air temp shower water felt GREAT!

At this point, I don't think I'm even going to pack a hoody.... I tend to be pretty warm most of the time - due to age and drinking, so I think one less item in the luggage is good

People sleep at music festivals?

Did anyone else check the weather for this weekend, out of curiosity? Holy moly, those temps would have been heavenly last weekend! Damn global warming...

The tropical storms going by (which won't affect Arrington) to me are the biggest threat to the fest--last year's Thursday, when luckily we were kept away, is a glimpse of the true "worst case" because it might not have warranted cancelling, but would have made the experience range from miserable to injurious. The tropical systems, including dying or remote hurricanes, are common in the summer/fall, so a realistic threat, and are much worse in the hills than the flatlands of the coast.

Our upstairs AC went out day before yesterday. I'm enjoying sleeping in the humid night air with a fan and the windows open. Wife is downstairs in the den w/ AC on the sofa!

However, in fairness, I was at an outdoor concert last night first so I was acclimated.

Virginia tonight.  70 degrees.

If this trend continues it would have snowed on the original dates
