So we are now close enough to begin packing up n gettin ready. Ugh. All the shit that needs to be gone thru. Wash the truck, wash the trailer, removing all the shit we don't need for the trip. Transferring all the alcohol to plastic containers. The never ending list to check off b4 we depart. Filling propane tanks, going thru everything to make sure we are set good n pretty to have a blast. It's a ton of work getting ready for 5 days off! It's all good. Hope all of you are doing the same. No stressing folks. We will get it done!

Know what you mean. Started last weekend so I could figure out what needed to be replaced & what new stuff I can use. Went out today for clothes shopping. Lost more than 50#'s in the last couple of months, thanks chemo, so nothing fits. And I thought the meds were expensive. Now 3 more days to recheck everything & load up for a departure on Wednesday at 5:00 am for the long drive & 4:00 pm check in. See ya on the farm!!!

Went to WallyWorld y-day and spent FAR too much. Came home and decided it was time to get some laundry done.

Right in the middle of the wash cycle, I heard a loud screetch. then noticed there was H2O in the pan underneath of it. Ruh roh. It's dead. Long story short, it's too expensive to fix.

No-one can get the one she wants until Wednesday afternoon at best. Nuttin like sitting around the ol' coin-op waiting patiently for some clean clothes. It NEVER fails man....always SUMPIN. Arrgggghhhhh mateys!

Yesterday I broke my tooth in half, like legit in half. The crack is HUGE. So I was searching this morning for a dentist to whip me up real quick. WELL I get a call from the school, my big guy broke his tooth. Both probably need to be extracted.... So I guess I'll be all doped up at Lockn, but at least I'll be there, hopefully pain free!

I've always packed about a week before. Until you add a crazy toddler tornado to our house. Camping stuff if packed together, most of it anyhow. I have a feeling I'll be throwing it all in suitcases Wednesday evening after our shopping trip. Thankfully I have lists!

It's the year of the last minute everything for us.

as someone with crappy teeth, i feel your pain. had 5 caps done a couple months back. expensive, but necessary, and also worth it. just be careful with alc and pills.
