Can I do RV camping with a car and tent and shade structure?
I'm stuck with the pass, but now I kinda think it would be nice to have the extra space.
Will they allow this?

that's a good question. i would send them an email and double check. there are some weird rules and i dont think i've ever seen anyone ask that question before

Agreed sneake. I would have to call the powers that be on that one.
You're gonna stand out like a sore thumb amongst a sea of RV's, and if they let you, you're gonna need to provide your own converter. By that I mean the adaptor from a 120V/30A to a straight three prong if you're gonna want electricity. You have the ticket, but I'm not so sure they are gonna allow a car taking up an RV's space. I would say they are gonna say "no", but...you DO have the pass.

What qualifies as an RV? If your vehicle is not an RV, bus or pop-up trailer, it cannot park in the RV sections. An RV is defined as any vehicle equal of, or larger either in length, width or height than an average 15-passenger van (230.8″ x 79.3″ x 82.3″). Any oversized vehicle, trailer, towed camper or bus is considered an RV. To gain entry, your RV must fit into a 20′ X 50′ space (including slides or awnings). Tents, canopies, hammocks, etc. may be set up next to your RV as long as they fit within the designated space. (Important: A box truck is not an RV, and is not allowed.)

From my research it looks like you cannot park in RV camping without a specific vehicle.
Nevertheless, Imagine the following setup:
Carport
30 amp -> 120v (traditional outlet) -> surge protectors -> extension cords
-LED rope everywhere
-Speakers
-mini fridge
-WINDOW UNIT attached to your tent
-etc. etc. etc.

Did you register your wristbands? They can be replaced for $20. There are lots of camping passes out there on the secondary market and could be worth a look.
