I talked to my friend to arrange our meet up before going in and was told that he got a Handicap camping pass and he is not handicap and he did not request one. I have a regular car camping pass, I have heard that they made some changes with camping and they have been sending out handicap camping to non handicap people because not enough handicap car camping was sold. My question is will me and my friend will be able to camp together? or has this happen to anyone before and if so what happen? I have send Lockn an email and still waiting on a response back. Thanks

Are there just two of you? If so your car camping pass would cover both of you, he may just need to buy a parking pass for his car.

There is four total camping total, him and his gf are already in the area, traveling around and we are heading out tomorrow. He does not have a ADA card, he is not handicap. Sounds like they might of messed up and sent out the wrong pass?

Your car camping pass is good for four people. Looks like they sent him the wrong pass. I would call and try to get someone on the phone. Maybe they trade his ADA pass for a car camping pass but he will need to pick it up at will call/box office at this point.

I really prefer the term "disabled." Actually, it's not perfect either, but "handicapped" is literally derived from cap-in-hand, and I am no beggar.

I will also accept "gimp."

Hell, even "crippled" is better than handicapped...
