Wasn't able to make it this year. Made a month long trip out West with my family and just too much going on this summer. Heading up to Vermont to do some camping this weekend. Gonna try and listen into some of the sets that I would like to hear, particularly CRB and HWA. Who else is out this year and what are your plans for the weekend?

Plans? Sitting around moping and drinking beer out of Sneake's coozie.
Not really (first part) but no plans really. I'm OK with my decision but now that it's here, my soul yearns. This year didn't work well for me for reasons outside the event; the bands mostly are not on my list (compared to last year which could not be beat) but it would still be fun. Also the past two years I had about 15 friends and relations there; just 3 going this year.

Tomorrow I'll be at the hospital for some tests, and there's a reasonably good chance I'll be admitted for some surgery on my small intestine. You know....just another weekend. But if I'm spared the weekend in the hospital, my plan is to sit on the couch, eat mashed potatoes, and binge watch the original Roots mini-series. Oh...and couch tour the TTB set at Lockn', which is the only thing other than the Forum Meetup that I'm sad about missing.

Good luck with your surgery Sue, hope that it's nothing serious. Got my coozie packed up for our camping trip will try to put it to good use. Some of the bands on the line up aren't to my liking either, but I guess that's sometimes gonna be the case. Hoping to listen in on a few sets. Anyone know if they will they be streaming the meetup? I kid, but yes that is one of the things that I will also miss.

Listening to the stream, and I have heard most of it thus far. Here are my thoughts....Vulfpeck: silly goofy rock, had tickets for Central Park, because my son likes them, just posted them on Stubhub. UM: most of it sounds like a mash up of prog rock and metal, each OK on it's own, but together... not a fan. Ween: trying to understand what anyone likes about them, sloppy and disjointed. Hoping everyone is having a better time than it sounds to me, I am sure they are. Wishing I could hear as much of tomorrow and Saturday as I have today.

I'm out this year for a lot of the same reasons as Smosey. I'm also feeling the "why didn't I go?" feelings too.
I am going to work Saturday and visit my mom Sunday. Hope everyone who is out has a good weekend

First time checking in w/ here: I got delayed getting to Lockn Day 1, it's too long a story but we're aiming to arrive there mid-day today for the rest of it.

I streamed a little bit of late last night, curious to see; while I've never experienced Ween live I was especially looking forward to them because I like their album "The Mollusk." And not knowing what to expect, last night's footage WAS kind of weird! The lead singer seemed out of it, and at the same time, "not into it"? At least for the songs Japanese Cowboy and "Fluffy". I turned it off during that 2nd one, it was a snoozer.

I'm currently watching my first Phish. Thank you Qello and modern technology. So far I don't dislike it. I wish I were drinking. But my body won't allow right now. It's just weird not to be there.
