When I substitute "before both sets" and add "for Phish" it makes more sense? I don't remember a very long break leading up to any other performance except once or twice, & now I can't recall which those were.

HOpefully a one time concession to Phish to have the large break.
Some bands did need to be ready to go on when it was their time. Didn't need to rotate the stage and then have the roadies setting up an additional 10 or 15 minutes. Not just Phil, but also TTB, I believe MMJ and others.

This is correct and verified. Phish called a lot of shots because Lockn was a small gig for them, and one was time to set up without a rush and start when they were ready.Because Lockn PhishBecause Phish...
