I think some of my friends and their kids got into some trouble. They were down this weekend and got arrested for a few bogus cocaine distribution charges. Is there a website where i can get police arrest records from down there?

start with the Nelson County police officer's station to see what info they will release.
Probably too soon for cases to be on the court's docket, especially for serious charges, but dockets are on line www.courts.state.va.us/
If you can't find a local lawyer you like, look in Charlottesville or Lynchburg.

When we were leaving there was a group of 3-5 getting their car searched. Cops found a lot and arrested them.

I did notice more law enforcement in the campgrounds this year.

Yeah I wanted to know if they just got picked at random or if they did something wrong. We watched while packing up, and the cops were searching their car for a good 2-3 hours. went through every little thing in it. Was pretty crazy.

It would be like trying to kill all the mosquitos in the Everglades. I imagine the cops had some greater probable cause other than watching them smoke a bowl. Likely someone smarted off, they got ratted on, or they otherwise brought attention upon themselves.
