Last Saturday we hosted Hardly Deadly out of Stockton, Ca. Overall it was a success, with a few snags and one incident.
The incident: we are kid friendly so please don't hit bees nests with sticks. It was epically bad for four children, especially the one that hit the nest and received over 20 stings.
The incidents: 1) K is not your friend. 2) The rest, I assume are the typical BS venues go through that shape weird policies and rules that leave us shaking our heads.
Overall though it seems to be growing and catching on. We learn a little each time and will try to grow into our best fit for this niche.
Next weekend is Camp Rosewater and we will be hosting at least 3 bands one of which (Liquid Kactus) is a reunion of a much missed local band.
It will probably be our last one until late spring next year.
