1 STAGE OR 2

Wasn't there for the one stage last year, but I like the concept much better. I did not like the VIP wedge that broke everything in half the two years prior to last. One stage, one crowd that's my vote.

I voted for two out of ignorance and my conservative nature b/c I wasn't there last year. But my crowd and I liked being able to get a good spot at the dark stage in anticipation of a favorite act, still being able to see the other show.

The only moving you do with the two stage setup is the rotation of your head approximately 45 degrees. 

This is why there should be one stage.....  and no set breaks.  That was some Phishy bullshit.

I want two stages back. It allowed you to get prime real estate for the shows you really wanted to see while giving yourself plenty of dancing space right before then. I also thought the transitions were far more seamless. Other than the 'Peck/UM one that everyone is talking about I don't remember many others last year, in fact I remember what seemed like at least 15 minutes in between each act. One of my pinnacle Lockn moments was night one of L2, seeing UM and SCI alternate sets over the course of 4 hours, I'll never forget Cheese bursting into a light speed tempo'd "far from home" in what seemed like a half second after UM played the last note of their first set. I remember stumbling back to my campsite that night feeling like I was just on a 4 hour roller coaster.

One. And it doesn't matter how many stages there are Phil still wouldn't be ready to play. I wish that somebody that interviews him asks him "WTF dude?"

One stage is better. That Umph entry was one of the highlights of the weekend for me.

He's still mad cuz his kid looks an awful lot like Steve Winwood.

With 2 stages there was twice as much rail to ride.

I had a hard time voting this one... I enjoyed both set ups. I guess I liked the 2 stages better. Maybe it's just Lockn nostalgia...

I don't have a strong preference. I think the turntable stage transitions would be awesome if they worked well and consistently. I thought the actual transitions we saw were much better on the two stages. Too many bands weren't ready to go when the table turned.
