One crowd
Let's get together and feel all right

I know its sounds dumb and improbable to some, but I read and absorb energy and get higher than tits by actually watching good musicians up close. It's not just to ogle or flash my knockers. That's why I like to ride the rail.

That was pretty damn epic!  Good point!  Can I change my vote?  HA!

Not the biggest fan of being up close. At times it's too crowded and I prefer the sound of the PA over the stage sound. I also feel that I get a better sense of the energy from the crowd when I am back a bit.

It's the noise and talkers that really make me ride the rail.

I can't stand the talking...

I'm good about 5-10 "rows" back and where there are seats, I want to be back to about level with the stage.

But my sister and her husband (Jane and Andy from the meet-up) always go to the rail b/c both, but esp. Jane, are short. She is a champion weasel and has killer techniques I best not divulge, and she and I have been going to GA concerts since we were young teenagers in the early 70's, when you could actually touch the stage. She even got under that stage at Jethro Tull's War Child show. They are among the ones who like the dual stage to set up at the dark one for the next band.

I always have good tricks as well. One of my favorites is to pretend my friends are hollering at me to hurry up. I wave (at no one) and say "I'm coming! Hold on! I've got the beer!", and 9/10 their attention span drops the inconvenience within seconds. Once I can't get any further I yell to imaginary friend "Sorry! I'll make it up there eventually!" and then make nice with those surrounding me by apologizing profusely and asking what they want to hear.

And if you are going to do that I am hanging up there with you!

It helps that you're cute. Just sayin.

I posted many a comment on this. I thought the stage may have broke after that. That was the first rotation of the festival. I kind of expected that the rest of the weekend and nothing came close. Night had alot to do with it but the fact they were playing before the rotation even started was something everyone could have done but nobody did (that i am aware of).
