Jan 6th Price Increase

Anyone remember how much the price went up after early bird last year? We didn't buy early bird.

I'm still on the fence with this lineup... Probably shouldn't be for $259 (+ fees of course), but I am.

Im not a fan of WSP and only a mild Fan of SCI which is why I'm on the fence.   I agree there is enough other bands on the lineup that has me interested, which is why I'm on the fence and not completely out.

Phish made up for the absence of SCI and WSP for me last year, even though I'd never seen them before, and they more than filled in the gap. We kind of decided that 2016 would probably be our last year at Lockn' because it was getting to big, too "organized", too commercial.

But we had so much FUN we decided to go again. And, I think, it's because the crowd is still great. Bonnaroo, not so much, will not go.

Like when you go to see a band that you know is great, but they're playing on a weekend at some venue that sells season tickets, and most of the crowd don't even know the band and they're just there to drink and hang out and maybe chat up some people and maybe sometimes it turns out okay because the band starts late and the drunks leave early and you end up having a good time at the end with some fun folks, but usually it doesn't and you try to enjoy the band even with people talking over the music and spilling beer on you and stuff. Bonnaroo is like a whole weekend of that but Lockn', it's still cool there are others I'd like to see in the lineup but it looks fine to me and I'm determined to have a good time and so far the crowd has been great.

To me it's a pretty good value at (($700 x 2) + $650 RV pass + Beer + Food + Fees) just the way that it is...

I'm still on the fence as well, although admittedly part of that is related to personal circumstances. But if I like the lineup enough I'll make it happen.

Kind of hoping they'll load Thursday & Friday up with Cheese and the Avett Bros and then I'll cruise in on Saturday and Sunday for the Panic-heavy portion of the fest and take only that Monday off work.

Well....I don't think it's gonna be Metallica, but I sure would like to see some Anders Osborne, Dumpstaphunk, Ry Cooder, Robert Cray, TTB or the like. Hell, bring back Charles Bradley & give him a later set. He was sweatin' his ass off as was everybody who was watching, but he still kept pounding it out. I would love to see him come back. It's def time for an announcement of SOME type. Throw us a bone GD!

Huh. I don't remember sending any text messages...

It was just as HUUUUGE at the farm. The heat kept us at the rv for some acts but it was great listening and knowing we were not missing a thing. Of course if the heat is not as stifling, it may not be used but its good to know its there.I pray they bring this back. I may have to make a call myself.
