In the closing scene of episode 3, they used Pink Floyd's "Breath" for the background music. Anybody remember the Dark Side of the Mood / Wizard of Oz (original movie) synchronicity thing? Yea, it gave me flashbacks.

I recently finished the OA on Netflix. It's dark and different. I liked it but didn't love it. BUT, what it did do is make me pay $60 a panel for some GORGEOUS curtains that appear in some scenes. Like "pause right there I need to do some major research to find these curtains" gorgeous. I don't even care about curtains.
Almost done with the Crown. I am moderately obsessed with British monarchies (in a perfect world I would be a War of the Roses and Tudor scholar), and my first born's middle name is Winston (for both Lennon and Churchill) and it is interesting to see Lithgow's portrayal of an imperfect, accomplished, and brave man who I admire.
I am looking for something else to binge though. I'm on the wagon (no worries, just a sugar detox just as I did before Lockn') until St. Patrick's Day and the Ween shows in Chicago, so I have ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD to be bored and veg.
Any suggestions based on my recent viewing preferences? What about Homeland? I detest Claire Danes (besides My So Called Life- I was swear I thought I WAS Angela Chase, and even had a Jordan Catalano look-alike boyfriend). Is she at least palatable in it?

I've never seen Breaking Bad. Well, no, that's a lie. I've seen the first two or three episodes.

LOL! I'm into giving it a try, I just never really got hooked after the first few episodes. I stopped at the episode where he blows up a dealers hangout? I think?

OK, but better than Six Feet Under? Because that's what I hold a lot of shows to. One of THE best shows ever. So smart and engaging.

Heard good things about that one and added it to my list, but we also heard excellent reviews about another Amazon show The Man in the High Castle also and started it on Thursday. Five episodes in and OMG... So disappointed. I don't know if I am really spoiled by better shows that cast a shadow on "smaller" productions like this but it is so cheesy and dis-jointed and comical when its not supposed to be. This show could be great, and so far I spend my time rolling my eyes at almost every scene. We will finish out the season to give it a fair shake but sheesh... It's pretty bad.

OMG love, love, love the Sopranos! I've seen every episode 3 times or more thanks to A&E reruns in the morning a few years back. I'd watch as I puttered around getting ready in the morning.
