My attention span is comparable to a gnat, so I cant really contribute much to the "What are you reading thread" so I figured I would start this one and see where it goes. Since it is binge season, I just started watching Stranger Things on Netflix based on a recommendation. Its pretty good and after watching the first episode decided to recommend it to the rest of my immediate family so we could start watching together. Its a sci fi thriller based in Indiana in 1982. Part of the intrigue is the period sets. The main characters are around 12 - 13 and really brings me back since I was that age in 82. The clothing, cars, furniture, etc.. are all spot on. I am only three episodes in but recommend it so far.

Try The Ranch on Netflx. Sam Elliott, Debra Winger, Danny Masterson, and Ashley Kutcher. There are 2 seasons and it's pretty damn funny imo.

And if you didn't watch Deadwood you really should, best HBO series evah. Better than GoT even.

I've been watching The Ranch as well. Really like that one.

House of Cards is an awesome show as well. Highly recommend this one...

Glad I'm not the only one who got sucked into The Ranch. Worf always looks at me funny when he sees me watching it, but I loves me some Sam Elliott! And I really dig the addition of Kathy Baker for season 2.

A friend of mine recommended The Ranch to me, so I checked it out. The first episode did not totally suck me in, but I gave it another shot & am now a fan. Definitely need to do some binge watching. Deadwood is on my binge list. Mostly watching The Crown. A person can only binge but so much.

Kutcher and Masterson work well together and Sam Elliotts mean old dried up character is awesome. Reminds me of me except I don't keep my mobile phone in the fridge.

The Crown is decent. Medici: Masters of Florence is soso. Pretty good acting but nothing really happens. Needs much more sex and violins.

Did anybody else see "The Dude" at the 2015 Lockn'? I saw him coming out of the crowd up the hill from the stage one night. Looked so much like him, had the exactly right color bath robe, the hair, slippers, and an old phone made out of bakelite hanging on his stomach. He went by fairly close to our group and I busted out laughing. Everybody looked at me all weird and I was like "Didn't you see that?" "What"? "THE DUDE!" I swear I didn't imagine it...

Just finished season one of Frontier on Netflix. Based on the fur trade conflicts around the Hudson Bay. VERY graphic, but notice I said I just finished. Wish the second season was out.
We started watching Mad Dogs on Amazon. Kind of quirky. Oops. Just read that there's only one season. Oh well.
