Greetings! I'm looking for input from those who used hotels with shuttles last year. Were any better than others for reliability? Thanks.

Didnt do the tickets/hotel packages. Did shuttle from charlottesville mall to oak ridge. Shuttle / hotel is the way to go. Was tryn to figure out what hotel would be rage friendly for this year. From the pics holiday inn charlottesville might be the spot. Should start thread so everyone stays at same hotel

I just went with the springhill lynchburg hotel/shuttle combo. It was closer than Charlottesville and Wintergreen, plus it got high ratings on various sites. I will be flying in, so camping or paying a fortune for the tents/buses etc...was out of the question.

Of the 3 options (Lynchburg, Wintergreen & Charlottesville) Lynchburg is probably the least... heady... shall we say. Not a big deal as you will be spending nearly all waking hours at the venue. Just keep that in mind at the hotel.

Yeh my main reasoning for choosing Lynchburg was the fact that it was closer to the venue. Id rather not be spending a bunch of time on the shuttle, but yeh I'll be spending most of my time at the venue anyways.

Did anyone stay at the Wintergreen last year? If so, care to share your experience? The views look incredible. Can only imagine how sweet it'd be to come home after a day of hard groovin' and just chill out looking at a mountain before getting a good sleep and repeating the process the next day.

I booked a room at the Orchard House B&B in Lovingston which is 3.8 miles from Lockn, $110/night including breakfast!
Unfortunately once Furthur was announced the rest of the rooms got snapped up quickly.
