GA Parking

I have a few questions about GA parking. I got an AirBnB in Lynchburg because I've done the campout thing at festivals a number of times and, though this is my first Lockn', I'd rather be able to get some sleep so I can be happy about late night shows.

1. Does the price ever increase for 4-day parking? Yes
2. Can I sit in or stand around my car and drink a few beers in the parking lot? Maybe even pull out a small table and camping propane grill? Yes table, probably no on the grill but they don't really patrol those lots
3. How far is the walk to the main venue (time-wise)? 10-15 minutes at most
4. Should I expect to go through a check point between Lockn' and Lynchburg late at night? Planning on having a DD but curious. No
5. Does the lot close late at night? Or if I wanted to grab a catnap before driving would that be fine? No and yes
6. Is there anywhere in the venue/camping area I could access without a special pass where I could potentially sleep in my hammock overnight? No

I'm not sure they allow overnight parking in the day parking lot, but I don't know if it's enforced, either.

Staying on site is more fun and Lynchburg is a bit of a drive. There are closer places to stay but they may be pricey.

While driving idea is not ideal, i guess it beats riding your bike that somebody posted they were contemplating.

Regarding checkpoints, not sure anybody can give you an honest answer on this. The people that know arent going to say.

Interesting that on the official site the FAQ says that single-day parking passes will be available, but the only parking tickets I can find for sale are 4-day tickets.

IIRC, last year they specified that the parking lot would be cleared every morning, it was like 5 or 6 a.m., I think, but it might have been later. I had a friend that came in for a single night and she didn't get out until after 7:30, though.
