With regard to brussel sprouts, I like mine roasted in olive oil with salt and pepper. Like asparagus and broccoli, they must not be overdone.

I planted a couple rows of Broccoli, but I didn't start in inside, so it is going to be late this spring. Stupid mistake.
I really need more incubation room inside.

Take two spears of asparagus, wrap in bacon, and cook until done. Do not share with anyone.
Place two spears of asparagus and grated parmesan cheese, wrap in a piece of crescent roll dough, and bake until GBD - golden, brown, and delicious.

I can't believe getting them cleaned and halved at our neighborhood grocery DOUBLES the price. Definitely worth a little prep, that.
I prefer to do the cleaning and halving myself in order to retain the loose leaves that come away. Those little suckers charred up and crispy are so good. I've been known to make crispy brussel chips in the oven. They're very good, but the prep time is a bit much.

No but pro-tip for growing brussels: don't harvest until after the first frost.

For the Kale, spinach, broccoli, I am going to attempt both spring and fall crops this year. I suspect I'd be doing the same with brussels.
