Good advise. Sounds like "The Lawyer" from the Roo boards some years back. Same thing if your stopped on your way driving in. If they ask to search your car you tell them your on a schedule & am I being detained. But the best thing to do is drive safely & follow the traffic laws. And wait till you get there to party & you will have a great time.

As I've stated I've been going to shows since 72 . 1, remain calm. 2, respectfully ask if your being detained. 3, respectfully am I under arrest, 4,ALWAYS BE RESPECTFUL !!!!!!!

One of my friends posted this on Facebook. I haven't tried it yet but looks like a cool app.
There is a GPS app called “Waze” It is one of the most helpful for pinpointing the location of police and reporting police sightings to other drivers. When someone sees a police car or a speed trap somewhere along their route, they can make a report alerting other drivers in the area about the police activity.
There is even an option that allows you to type in a message that gives a better description of where the police are and what they are doing. This option also allows activists to send out witty messages to their fellow travelers, such as, “warning: state mercenaries extorting civilians near exit 7″.
There are a few different GPS apps out there that have similar features, but Waze has the most users, making the reporting more frequent and accurate. Waze also awards points to people who make regular reports, encouraging everyone to stay active and warn other drivers of danger when they can.

i used this on my way to Roo this year. crazy helpful when nearing a festival. it also adds helpful info to your google maps, if that's what you prefer to use. i highly recommend this app
