So my Order Number has been blue since the whole red/blue idea was brought to my attention. I received an email on 7/27 that my VIP ticket had shipped. When I clicked on the USPS tracking info provided by Frontgate it said "Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item". It was like that for 10+ days. Finally, this morning the tracking updated to show that it was accepted at a USPS facility and has arrived and since departed the Austin, TX Distribution Center and will be arriving in my hands on Friday... FWIW, it looks like I didn't receive last year's wristband until 8/15, so we've still got time... See y'all soon.

Pretty annoying to get an email today from Lockn telling me to be sure to purchase my tickets early so I don't have to deal with Will-call.

I think Lockn is gonna have to retract that e-mail and quick like. Did you notice it said GA can come for early entry...with a valid early entry ticket of course. Nothing like causing confusion in the ranks, right? Let's correct that to GA RV, VIP & SVIP please? THANK YOU. We don't need hippies sleeping on the side of the road. I don't have enough beer to keep em all happy.

I work for a large telecommunications company, and I support numerous federal agencies, to include the U.S.P.S. While they have done a tremendous amount of upgrading to their tracking abilities, and it's communications with the general public as a whole over the last few years, they simply can't keep up. They just don't have the manpower. I'd be willing to betya an ICRB that says you will receive your tickets before that webpage gets updated with the "delivered" option as "complete".

This will also explain how in-effective they are at intercepting illegal items being mailed from those states where it's legal to you-know-what. They just don't have the manpower or the time to scan every package. I'd love a federal government job. Hell...I'd be so happy to celebrate veterans day, cuz I know I wouldn't have to work. I've worked it every year for the last 24 years. Rodney Dangerfield comes to mind...

There is no tracking on the website. When I click on the blue button it says "fulfilled." Last year I got an email telling me my tickets had shipped AFTER I had received my tickets.

EVERYTHING can take some Kahlua. Here is my favorite Kahlua use (besides White Russians)

Kahlua Cake
(18 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cup sour cream
1⁄2 cup vegetable oil or 1⁄2 cup canola oil
1⁄2 cup water
4 eggs
3⁄4 cup Kahlua
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Glaze
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 -4 tablespoons Kahlua

Directions

Set oven to 350°F.
Set oven rack to second lowest position.
Generously grease and flour a bundt pan.
In a large bowl combine the cake mix with pudding mix, sour cream, oil, water, eggs, Kahlua and cinnamon; beat until well blended.
Stir chocolate chips and walnuts.
Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan pan.
Bake at 350°F for 45-60 minutes, or until the cake tests done.
For the glaze; mix confectioners sugar starting with 2 tablespoons Kahlua until smooth adding in more Kahlua until desired consistency is achieved.
Pour over cake.
