I voted Friday afternoon, just because nobody had picked it yet on the poll. And I like to be different (stop calling it "contrary").
I actually kind of like the idea of meeting on Thursday, as long as load-in goes smoothly, which is never guaranteed.

We need an infield tent, like the alumni tent, but us. With a mister fan. Early Bird unofficial meet Wed., unofficial meet Thurs., official meet Friday. Heck lets meet, drink, listen to bands and dance all weekend long!

Let me ask you something. Do you ever tell friends something along the lines of " Meet me at Poindexter's at 6:00 for moussaka and ouzo."? Same thing. i think thurs before the music would be ideal for a lot of people, but we'd probably miss some people that are either coming a day late or had something happen along the way that delayed them. i think fri around noon has worked best in the past and we should stick to it

IDK Andie, it was pretty convenient to BRB when they put us there at L3 (and everything starts and ends at BRB this year). Yes I know it is still 63 days away but I think that it is never too soon to start talking about the meet & greet.It's always hard to pick a time when somebody doesn't have something else to do or a band to hear. One possibility would be to have a gathering before the first band starts. We might even be able to get criticalbill to come if it is after 3 pm 
. I would think everyone would likely be set up by then. Maybe we do something an hour before the first band starts and then roll in as a crew and rage the first band together! Just a thought. Let's hear yours...

Since every year has been different it is hard to predict. But lining up much before sunrise can get you shuttled off into a holding pen that can take hours to recover from.

Lots of suggestions/strategies for when to be at the gate. Depends on what type of camping you are doing. If forest camping then probably early in line to get a good spot. If VIP (any type )or GA RV you can come in Wed. Last year GA RV early entry was staged at the farthest spots from the action. No one knows what will happen this year. If you don't care where you are parked you could show up at noon and probably drive right in with no waiting in line.
As to when the meet & greet will be that is still in discussion. Might be an unofficial meetup on Thurs. and the official beer exchange thingy on Friday. We will know **soon**

Thursday everyone arrives at different times, some of us are coming off of a long night/day/days of traveling, so on so forth. Just my two cents
