9 am Gate Time

if they don't open the doors early, it's going to be a disaster. i'll be there not too long after midnight. ill sleep in my car in line if i have to. i just hope that when they see the thousands of cars lined up, that they know they have no choice but to open it up

I am glad I man ot the only one who was thinking this will be a disaster upon entrance. Nelson County is not ready for this traffic. I plan on arriving in the wee hours of Thursday as well.

We can't leave (State College, PA) until the wee hours Thursday. If there was no traffic, and if we didn't stop for gas or food, we'd get there right about 9. I'm terrified. I'm sure there's only a two lane road leading in and out...

Call me crazy, but I am going to assume they have planned for this and maybe have separate entrances( or separated once you get into the main property) for the different types of camping/parking, etc. Don't stress- just roll with it, and you will have a fine time.

We are gonna get there around 11-12 weds night. For tent only, should be good, I hope. By far the earliest I ever showed at a fest.

I know I got 3 peeps coming in in a 4 door wrangler....one guy is 6'4" if we have to we will but its gonna be TIGHT!

I'm in chapel Hill, what up nieghbor!, I changed my pick up time to Wednesday.  getting there in the wee hours.  I hope that earlier pick-up time works out for ya

Earliest I can get there on thursday is 11am. Keeping my fingers crossed but figure should be enough time to pitch the tent and have a few beers before seeing Keller and the Keels. They are really good btw if you haven't checked them out on youtube ~Cheers

we have a ten hour drive and to cheap to get room for few hours of sleep. im guessing we leave to drive straight to line with plans on being there areound 12 wed. night. Glad to see im not the only one trying to early bird it. i love everything about this festival but 9am gate opening is just way
to late........

sometimes arriving late is a blessing in deguise.... i bet the line will be shorter by then
