Looking for advice/experience from this group on the Tye River float trips run by the episcopal church outside the festival entrance. Sounds like fun for a hot day, but wanted know if it's worth it. Also don't exactly want to miss any music.....

It's not a float trip. You get on a bus, go to the Tye River, jump in the river and bathe. You could bring an inner tube and float in one spot but that's about it. There were certainly folks doing it last year, just for the opportunity to get wet. But last year was unusually hot and dusty.

I've never done it. I think it almost requires you to miss music.
It definitely requires you to be at X place at Y time, which I refuse to do at a festival.

no, they are pretty cool about that and this is a fundraiser for their Central America work, at least in the past it was.
