Does anybody know a place somewhat local and nearby the festival grounds to fill water holding tanks prior to getting to festival? Don't want to drive 6 hours hauling all that weight in the travel trailer?

Also what about a dump station after leaving festival grounds? We would be heading south from there.

Looks like the closest dump station is in Norwood, at the James River State Park.

At least, that's according to the "Cruise America" app.

What route are you taking when you leave? There is a dump station at the Bedford welcome center right on 460. I'm also checking with Stoney Badger.

I rented an Rv last year and I went to a garden shop right by food lion and they let me fill up there.also they have trucks come and you can empty right as you leave the farm,close to the exit.you can't miss it as they direct all the Rv's out that road.

I dont remember that. Are you talking about the exit by the oak tree or is that a VIP thing? I def would have taken advantage of that but I would expect a huge line if it were available.

probably so, but you can always phone them first and also pay ~~bribe~~ the operator a cash temporary fee. Many of those self storage places are owner operated so they can be flexible.

We were planning on heading south on RT 29 towards Lynchburg then onto Charlotte and into SC
