Anybody know the difference between VIP GLAMPING & VIP TENT Aug 5, 2017 15:33:04 GMT -5

website descriptions and photos are almost identical - except under glamping they mention "bath towel", "Memory foam mattress", "duvet' - cost difference between VIP GLAMPING vs VIP TENT rental is about $400......so is it really just a $400 bath towel or is there a significant difference in these options. I have emailed/called official lines for days and nobody can really answer my question so far.

HELP!

I recall two different tent set ups; one was called "Sherpa" I think.

Or maybe VIP tent means VIP camping with your own set up but your car parked away from the tent--just like GA car and GA tent. Then "glamping" is the set-up wall tent with furniture.

Memory foam? Some things are best not recorded....

There are two different options for each category queen vs twin

1)TWO PERSON VIP QUEEN BED TENT RENTAL/TWO PERSON VIP TWIN BED TENT RENTAL $920/970

Guests must have two (2) VIP tickets to LOCKN’ to redeem their tent rental package.

10’x14’ Weatherproof Tent
One (1) Queen Bed/Two (2) Twin Beds
Bedding (sheets, blankets and pillows)
One (1) table
Two (2) chairs
One (1) fan
Area rug
Camping light for each tent
Power outlet in each tent
One lock for tent entrance
Hospitality Table stocked with festival necessities

AND
2) TWO PERSON VIP QUEEN BED GLAMPING TENT/TWO PERSON VIP TWIN BED GLAMPING TENT $1320/1370

Guests must have two (2) VIP tickets to LOCKN’ to redeem their Glamping package.

One (1) Queen memory foam mattress bed/Two (2) Twin memory foam mattress beds
Two (2) pillows plus duvets and bed linens
One (1) bedside table
One (1) table
Two (2) chairs
Two (2) bath towels
One (1) fan
Tent lighting and fan to keep cool
Power in each tent for all devices
Hospitality table stocked with festival necessities

And that is all the info there is. Only difference I see is memory foam vs

, a bedside table and bath towels. Yet another marketing fail.

Also the higher-end may be set up in a better location.

BTW VIP already included a "hospitality table" of bug spray, sun screen, snacks, etc. in the VIP tents and concessions.

I've done the tent rental a couple of times (including this year), but not the glamping tent. Based on what I can tell the difference is location (glancing used to sit on top of a ridge) and size of tent. If you are using the tent as sleeping HQ go with the rental, if you are a person that likes to hang out around the campsite and listen to music from a far (nothing wrong with that) go glamping for nicer accommodations.

I think all of the various options are confusing if you haven't done it before; they require a lot of reading and assembling scattered information. I don't know if other events are like this.
