First timer here and going solo.
Have tix for thurs and fri only.
First ?: when does music start on thurs most likely?
2nd ?: haven't made camping arrangements yet. Is it wiser to do tent or get a room in lynchburg? Money isn't a big factor but don't want to add $200 for 48hrs of creature comforts either.

Do what you want but I would never stay off site. Miss too much of the vibe.

A friend of mine stayed off site last year & said later she would not do that again...too many logistics to deal with.

They are doing a "screening" of the new documentary "Long Strange Trip", which starts at 3:00 pm on Thursday. It runs for about 4 hours. So I expect the music (Umphrey's) to start at about 7:00.

But ... at least there's "something" to do earlier, and they show field will open up at 3:00.

BRB: Midnight- ??: Disco Biscuits
