car camping changing booth:
Open both driver and passenger doors.
open the windows an inch
put a short pole through the window cracks at the outside edge--so you have a horizontal.
Hang a sheet/tarp/shower curtain etc. on the pole and tops of doors, and attach to car roof with magnets.
works for tall cars. You can put a solar shower on the roof. Better than changing clothes on your back in the tent. Cheaper than a shower booth and takes up less room.
Personally I wish everyone would just be like the Europeans. The people changing, etc. just do it quickly and discreetly; the people not changing don't stare.

I have been known (from time to time) to throw a jacket over my lap at the show field and change into long pants. If you don't make a big deal of it no one will notice. Even Worf right next to me can't really tell what I'm doing (until he steals the jacket from my hands). And if anyone sees a free show...they totally deserve what they get!car camping changing booth:

At an event like this, no one is going to care, or stare. Especially among a group "of a certain age."
People who do things like backpacking, boating, third world travel, etc., and people who travelled with large families, know how to act.
But nonetheless there are people on both sides of the curtain who may be uncomfortable.

I use the inverter because I run a small extension cored plugged into a timed plug. @ about 10 pm our rope lights come on and light up our flagpole and camping area. Last year it lasted all 4 days of Lockn without any problems!
If you can remove the inverter from the equation you'll get more out of your car battery.We use a car battery with a power inverter to run power stations and lights @ camp. Pocket juice for out on the field works pretty well!
