Welcome to the Lockn' Forum - The home of the original Lockn' Music Festival family!
I've never done VIP-I usually have to volunteer to get my ride. I like the old days when you paid one price and everyone got the same thing--great music. But I totally get it, the festivals now are dollar-driven, but when you pay those premium prices you expect premium services for your hard earned dollars. No whiney butt label coming from me! Please note: This forum is in no way officially associated with Lockn' Festival or its promoters.
SVIP does not appear to be worth it to me.

The SVIP area looks to be in a triangle area again so we can all wedge in. Paid all this money every year to be able to see the bands and not have to fight all the teen age folks to see. If I do get up front 10 hours early, have to fight my way thru the crowd to even go use the bathroom. Having back issues, it was nice in the past to be able to get out of the crowd to sit for a few min quickly. I sure miss being able to enter from either side of the stage.
With the new stage setup, SVIP camping is not any closer than the rest. At least it's flat.
I'm sure I sound like a whinny butthead, but I saved up a months salary to pay for SVIP. Don't see it happening again.

Did you enjoy the product from CID in the past?
Have they earned the benefit of the doubt?
Just asking because I have and feel that in the end they've always made me happy with my decision.

That being said, I can go to about 5 other smaller fests in comfort for the same price of Lockn.

More important: VIP is the profit center that supports everyone else. It's like the "silent scholarship" from an endowment, or how 10% of us pay the taxes--really pay--so the other 30% who don't pay can send their children to school for free.

And I don't think you'd have the rotation you think. Once folks camped out their spot they are staying. It's an organized cluster fk as it is.
