I just got the email with the VIP details (YAY!) and thought of a stupid question.

It mentions picking up the poster/water bottle at check-in and needing the purchaser to show ID.

I bought 2 VIP tickets (one for me, one for the wife) , I get 2 posters and 2 water bottles right?

Why do I worry about such things?

At L2 we got a nice small-sized riding crop, in keeping with the horse race theme, to "inspire" the bearers to better performance. I guess they are lost in the budget cuts as well.

But each year (L2 and L3) I got a few more branded items than were listed.

I used to just use my car's lighter for a spot on the forehead but the rustlers could copy it. So I got an idea from The Walking Dead that at carved W for Wales will suffice. Just need something to carve with.

VIP posters are issued to you at check in as your enter the grounds. They are not in tubes and none are provided.
