I don't know about you guys, but instead of trucking chairs around I usually just find some unused chairs and keep them warm until the rightful owners show up. I do this at beer festivals, concerts, etc. Does anyone see an issue with this?

I call it squatting and I do it all the time. As long as said chair is gracefully given up with thanks when the owner shows up I see no problem with it at all. An empty chair is such a lonely sight...

Yeah- the only thing that makes me feel bad is when the person doesn't realize it's their chair because someone is in it and they are walking around confused.

At L3 I tripped and dropped a full plate of noodles onto an empty chair. Cleaned it up the best I could. Heard someone say oh there goes dinner. Full disclosure, I was a little tipsy.

At Grey Fox this year, I got a little tipsy and set a full cooler sleeve of beer down because it was hindering my dancing. Someone was gifted with a nice sleeve and 6 extra beers. 😑

OK furthur disclosure.... I had 2 plates, 1 for me and 1 for my son. Tripped and spilled them both. In the process of cleaning up the mess I salvaged what I could. It equated to one nice plate. Walked back to my son and dinner served. Happened during SCI just before the JA set.

Sorry, I pay for the right to leave my chair wherever I want. Typically I try to leave it in the back out of the way. If you have trouble tripping over it get a better flashlight...
