The only decayed VIP value I observed was that with more acts on the Relix stage, there was an erosion of value for the VIP viewing area when there were just the early morning and late night sets there. It wasn't a huge deal to me as you could get close enough for most of the Relix stage sets.

Nah, Dan Healy figured that out years ago. Including how to get it working at different venues on the road...

I echo many of the sentiments here, especially water stations, as well as facilities.

Most of that could be alleviated if there was just one stage and a really large bowl. It would probably take a LOT of earth moving to make that happen, but just a few tweaks might get it a little closer to the ideal.

The sound for the main stage was really only good if you were actually inside the main bowl - go beyond the little path at the back and the acoustics were pretty awful. And that bowl's just a little too small with all the chairs and structures and blankets. Just not the kind of spread-out room I'm used to at outdoor venues.

Keeping the chairs out of the front section worked a lot better than I've ever seen before! So kudos for that. On the occasion that I went down close to the stage, it was easy to move around, crowding was not a problem, and having nothing to stumble on made it a lot more fun.

I was in Green Field rv, third row of rvs from BRB (so top of the hill basically). Could not hear anything from main stage, almost nothing from BRB. I was further back last year and stage was way further forward and I could hear much more. I guess its the hole the main stage was in. So maybe the relocation itself was to make the neighbors happy.
