Poison Ivy in the grass?

Were you in GA tent-only? I saw some growing in the area from the fence closest to the road between tent-only & the main car camping field. There were little plants in about a 5 ft. swath from the fence toward the tents. In other words, walking toward BRB it was on the far left edge of the camping area. It seemed to get heavier on the down side of the hill. The plants were just slightly higher than the grass. Being someone who is extremely allergic to those leaves of three, I warned people on several occasions about the presence of that evil weed. There were some huge roots right between the fence and the tower across from the ice & water station. I couldn't believe people were walking all through that wooded area along the road.

I hope you aren't plagued too much longer with the rash.

We were in the VIP car camping area. I too watch out for the stuff like a hawk. My guess is that poison ivy was also growing in the fields when they cut them back, removing any way to identify the buggers and leaving little urushiol brushes for my flippy floppy feet to walk through. The rash is pretty bad, but getting better. Not sure what they can do, but I hope they get rid of it somehow for next year.

Nothing sexier than bat shit crazy. I still have a crush on Helena Bonham Carter because of her role in Fight Club. Similar to, but distinct from, is what I call Youth In Decline. Think Brittney Spears in the coke years. That said, my wife is very rational and respectable because you don't want to live with that mess.

Sometimes, when someone claims or is said to have "turned over a new leaf" I am reminded that poison ivy is the same on both sides.
