Just read on Jambase that they are auctioning off GD memorabilia. stremmelauctions.hibid.com/catalog/115711/a-collection-of-the-grateful-dead-and-artist-jan-sawka/ . Some cool items. The troubling part, as described in the article, is the fact that they are breaking up the banners from the '89 summer tour. Saw three of these shows and these banners bring back a lot of great and moving (literally) memories for me. The artist intended them to be displayed as a single piece. Not sure where they would ever be displayed due to the size but kind of sucks.
