Happy New Years everyone! Tonight I played scrabble with the wife until she got sick with a cold our nephew gave her. I then watched the entire live version of Demon Days by the Gorillaz. We went to SC to see her parents earlier this week and I had a hankering for listening back to Arcade Fire for some reason. I searched them up tonight and found an ACL episode that turned me on to them in the first place. This is a great live song and makes me want to be with a French woman. Hope you enjoy and keep on keeping it live!

The first time i saw Arcade Fire, Coachella 2004 or 2005 i believe, after Funeral came out but i had greatly ignored it, was the moment that changed my trajectory as a music fans. I loved Coachella, but never ventured out of that bubble really. Just listened to the usual stuff (post punk/new wave at that time).
That show was just the most insane thing i ever witnessed. It was 40-50k fans huddled around the 2nd stage. People as far as the eye could see and i was only a few people back. Got hit in the head with Win’s mic stand when he threw it out. It’s something amazing to reminisce about. I really fell in love with the power of music right there.
