Spending most of my time there with my bro but what should I not miss?
Hot chicken is the Nashville signature dish along with Meat & 3. There really isn't a distinct Nashville BBQ style but there are some BBQ joints on my radar.
Hattie B's HOT Chicken - 112 19th Ave S, Nashville, TN
hattieb.com/
THE place for hot chicken if all the stories are to be believed.
Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint - 410 4th Ave S, Nashville, TN
www.martinsbbqjoint.com/
Award winning.
Jack's Bar-B-Que - 416 Broadway, Nashville, TN
jacksbarbque.com/
The granddaddy of Nashville BBQ. Located on Broadway between Robert's Western World and The Stage on Broadway.
The Gambling Stick - 501 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN
www.thegamblingstick.com/
Perma-truck with table in a tent in East Nashville serving Pigsket (pork brisket)
Peg Leg Porker BBQ - 903 Gleaves St, Nashville, TN
peglegporker.com/
Dry rub ribs and chicken with a white sauce.
Whatcha got?
What happens if I take both?

Aside from BBQ, Jackson's on 21st Ave is a good spot for maybe a bit more upscale fare, but pretty good burgers. It's near Vanderbilt.
Arnold's Country Kitchen has great southern, I think it was on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives.
Back Alley Diner is also great. Maybe a bit hard to find.
Oh and definitely try Biscuit Love in the Gulch. Check out Third Man Records before/after and make yourself your own record in their recording booth.
Hiss Golden Messenger - 12/9
My Morning Jacket - 12/29-12/31

Thanks for the intel.
Truth is, my brother lives down in Franklin and I will be lucky to get into Nashville at all.
I'd heard about Prince's but had multiple people recommend Hatie's and with Prince's being on the far north side of town I really doubt I would get up there.
Arnold's Country Kitchen is right around the corner from Peg Leg Porker.
Back Alley Diner? Hard to find? Are you challenging me? I accept!
Biscuit Love is right around the other corner from Peg Leg Porker and Yazoo Brewing is right around the OTHER corner.
And isn't Third Man Records where sneake has moved to just on the off chance of meeting Jack White?

The Germantown location is the one we frequent....family style dining at community tables. True southern cooking, amazing food and service. If you can’t make dinner, breakfast is just as good
