Are the showers decent? How are the mosquitoes at the festival in general?

Kidding aside - welcome to the board!

The shower situation at L1 was a disaster. Each year it has improved. They did a great job last year. A/c, attendants, covered lounge/waiting area. Extra toiletries if you left something at camp.

There will be mosquitoes. Come prepared. But, it won't ruin your experience.

No worries about critters, they coat the entire grounds in DDT and Kepone a few days before. I've not seen a living (un-ticketed) creature in 5 Lockn's.

The only bug I have heard of causing a problem were the furry caterpillars, but that was the West Forest. Keep your flaps or doors secure, a camp neighbor in 2016 had most of his group in the infirmary from the critters. West Forest area wasn't used last year and I heard nothing of anyone getting the bites. Never seen a mosquito on the farm or at Infinity Downs. Respect the Beaver and you shall prevail #bekind
