It is definitely NOT just you that wants one of them. I don’t even really care if it works as advertised. It just looks awesome and yet strangely useless.

I'd want to know of the CO2 adds carbonation, or just pressure? I guess it's the same as a pressurized keg or other beer delivery systems.
Lots of old-time seltzer bottles would fit the bill, my wife sells those in her bar-centric antique and gift shop. You can also put craft tonic syrup in them and have fresh home-made tonic water for your G&T.
