Good afternoon fellow lockn forum heads ,

First time going this year , VIP Tickets with Glamping camping . Noticed on last years map, there was a GA glamping area in orange between RV high field & back stage , but then there were no tickets sold for this .I looked on the drone 360 picture from last year & see Super vip tent rentals section next to the big tents . Also see Rental tents next to track in VIP section .
My question is are all the glamping tents in that orange GA glamping section on map .
Or are they slipt up some in Super vip camping area , some in VIP camoping area , & The mystery GA glamping area .

Just curious for some info , any body know ?

Welcome! Your excitement is contagious, I also cannot wait until August! Did you look at this 360 drone shot?

In it you can see the Ga glamping in that little strip next to the woods behind the main stage. The VIP glamping is inside of the track on the left side in this shot and the Super VIP glamping is next to the big white tents in the Super VIP camping area.

I camped next to VIP glamping next year, it's right where TOO said. It's near a tower, by the race track, but off more to the side. You park about 50 feet from your tent, so it'll be easy to lug stuff, with room in back of the tent for your EZ Up. Those things looked pretty cool

Welcome aboard!

Keep in mind that they move the locations of the different types of camping every year, and last year was a new set-up. I understand they will likely move the main stage back to make more room, and adjust a lot of the areas along the stage line. So anything in that area last year will likely change. Like most things at Lockn, you won't know until you are there!

Yeah, no. It’s sole purpose seemed to be to play out of phase music to distract nearby listeners and to keep anyone except Bob and Phil from playing Grateful Dead on the main stage.

edit: I’ve been meaning to ask, what is the can of acetone strapped to your helmet for?

Technically, every year they could have put BRB on main stage. Last years setup made for a real clusterfuck at end of main stage sets/beginning of BRB for people skipping late night and trying to get over to the main exit. That was some bad planning.

I use to work in a printing plant. Penthouse was our most famous (favorite) print. We used toluene to thin the ink. We had a small room off of the main print presses that we would use to work on the print cylinders. When the floor needed cleaning we would pour buckets of toluene on the floor

and play hockey...and get high af on that sh*t. That was one of the milder things that happened in that plant on 3rd shift...

Smosey wales , Yeah i've been reading alot on the forum about changing things around & not Knowing till the last minute .

Just trying to figure out what to bring - wagon to haul stuff , bikes, stuff for outside the tent .

there were a number of reasons the set-up had problems, especially that and having the main entrance at the front of the venue. Next year the stages will be shifted some but they will need to fix the other issues. However, I bet the entrance will be close to the same place.

My $0.02 has also been deposited on the exiting issue, too.
